Boojum is a network of award winning, fast-casual, Mexican restaurants across Ireland, Northern Ireland and England.
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced designer to join the Marketing Team as we continue to grow our network.

As Boojum’s in-house designer, the Creative Lead is a crucial role with the marketing team.
This role requires a team player who is comfortable and confident working independently
with the ability to manage multiple projects to meet strict deadlines. You’ll lead the creation of impactful design across brand campaigns and promotions. From concept to execution, you’ll bring fresh ideas, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of design principles to every project.

Salary: ÂŁ30,000 - ÂŁ36,000 P/A

Creative Concept Development & Execution
- Own and lead the end-to-end creative development process for all campaigns and
promotions, from creative ideation through to roll-out. - Develop photography mood boards and lead the creative vision and direction of
photography shoots, ensuring high-quality visuals. - Present and communicate design concepts and rationales effectively to internal
stakeholders. - Work with the wider marketing team to bring Boojum campaigns to life, ensuring the creative execution aligns with brand strategy, delivers against commercial objectives and resonates with our customers.
Own The Brand’s Visual Identity
- Drive the creative vision and day to day execution of multi-channel assets, including social media content, website visuals, digital ads, in-store signage and print
materials. - Ownership of brand guidelines, ensuring all creative outputs align with the brand’s
style and visual identity. - Identify opportunities to progress, refine and develop the Boojum brand and visual
identity. - Manage and maintain brand visual assets library.
- Constantly look to evolve existing design/creative processes to increase efficiency,
including the use of new technologies eg. AI - Brainstorm & build scalable design solutions eg. reusable components and templates
Creative Strategy
- Lead the development and execution of the brand’s creative strategy across all
marketing initiatives and customer touchpoints, ensuring a consistent, cohesive, and
compelling brand presence. - Champion creative excellence within the business, pushing boundaries to create
innovative, attention-grabbing campaigns. - Translate business objectives into engaging creative concepts that connect with our audience and drive results.
- Stay immersed in emerging creative trends, youth culture, and relevant communities to identify and champion the right ideas for the brand and to infuse fresh thinking into our creative approach.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A creative portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical abilities
- 3+ years of graphic design experience
- A conceptual thinker with the ability to develop brand-led creative solutions that go beyond execution.
- A hands-on designer with the enthusiasm and ability to bring bold ideas to life and
push creative boundaries. - Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects,
Premiere Pro, InDesign). Experience with motion and animation is a bonus. - Familiar with the Boojum brand and can identify our key audience and how to create a connection
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen eye for detail and passion for great design
- Detail orientated with excellent proofing skills
- A collaborative and confident communicator, able to articulate ideas and concepts
well

- Interview stage 1 - Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview in person at our Belfast Head Office
- Interview stage 2 - Successful candidates from stage 1 will be required to complete a practical design task and 2nd round interview
